Heading towards the end of the 3rd quarter and still struggling to complete assignments that have been assigned has become constant since my last post so to help bring up my grade I have decided to manly stick with assignment that do not require the usage of 3ds max or assignments that I believe that I can complete without outside assistance.

This week in game design I have been attempting to keep up with the constent stream of work being given and failing my work so far has been composed of material assignment and i've mange to turn in 2 but work is going slow and though recently I had obtained 3ds max the software program use at my school the license had expired so now all I can rely on is doing all my work at school.
It is now the end of the quarter and lately this week I have been staying up until 1 a 'clock doing game design work since I have so many assignments backed up from after break and with the projects being due stress is at a maximum. After today I am happy to be finally going on a 5 day break since school has been quite intense and the fact that after all the work I put into all my assignments they all decided to fail once subissions were due , I just hope that next quarter will have better results.
Currently in game design I am trying to catch up on missing work, because I am 2 assignments behind with an upcoming project that will be including these assignments as key components these assignment require me to now be working at home due to having access to 3ds max at home since I now have a computer that can actually handle using 3ds max, now that I am able to work outside of school I hope that I can bring up my current working speed.
When it comes to compound objects my favorite one to use is sweep ( sweep is a tool that allows you imprint a pattern and change the shape of a 3d objects) mainly because you can be more creative when using it and it also can help you create cool designs for different things such as tiles for the floor or ceiling, in my sweep assignment when I had to create a mirror is an example of using the sweep to create a cool design for a certain thing; but though this tool is fun to use it isn't the most practical tool that could be used the better more useful would be bloobmesh mainly, because the tool can be used within a wide variety of situations such as creating a body of water, creating furniture, certain (unrealistic) trees. The use of the bloobmesh tool can be seen on the couch that I had created which though it looks fake the technique can still be applied to many different kinds of scenarios. Another reason I choose these two items is that both of them are easy and quick to use once you learn how to use them. Though for both these tools I don't believe that they can be used in anything then basic furniture or terrain I can't view them to create a character or anything man-made such as roads and towers but the tool is both quite easy to use and is quite versatile when professionally skilled with them.
