Recently this week we have mainly been working on our compound object project, so there is not much to tell about my recent game design endeavors except that when working on the project it took a lot of effort especially when creating the plants I had to obtain a lot of assistance from class mates to be able yo to complete my assignment for a final grade.

If I were to put my current time in games design into one word I would say Intense, mainly because we have been working on, and learning new materiel's at a very fast pace. We have been currently learning about compound objects and how you would be able to use them to create a certain scenario. We have gone through many of these compound objects the compound objects were mainly composed of sweep tool, scatter, and Arrays the art work that I created using these tools can be found on my work.
When it comes to compound objects my favorite one to use is sweep ( sweep is a tool that allows you imprint a pattern and change the shape of a 3d objects) mainly because you can be more creative when using it and it also can help you create cool designs for different things such as tiles for the floor or ceiling, in my sweep assignment when I had to create a mirror is an example of using the sweep to create a cool design for a certain thing; but though this tool is fun to use it isn't the most practical tool that could be used the better more useful would be bloobmesh mainly, because the tool can be used within a wide variety of situations such as creating a body of water, creating furniture, certain (unrealistic) trees. The use of the bloobmesh tool can be seen on the couch that I had created which though it looks fake the technique can still be applied to many different kinds of scenarios. Another reason I choose these two items is that both of them are easy and quick to use once you learn how to use them. Though for both these tools I don't believe that they can be used in anything then basic furniture or terrain I can't view them to create a character or anything man-made such as roads and towers but the tool is both quite easy to use and is quite versatile when professionally skilled with them.
