In game design I have been working with 3D modeling in an app called 3D max. Within this app I have had to master with an application within the app called edit poly the tools that come with this application set up the foundation of completing all the assignment that are assigned to me edit poly consists of many different features that can be applied to your model but the main tools that I have used so far are the vertex, edge, polygon editing tools. These tools aren,t the only toolas and applications that I have used when working with edit poly but they are the solid foundation to everyone of my creations.

Lately in game design we have been working in 3D max on 3D modeling. 3D modeling so far has gone well, we have mainly been working on assignments that have video guides which allows you to work through assignments fairly quick; the main issues with working with 3D max is working around the glitches that seem to constantly appear, and the only way to work around this is to place multiple safe points were you constantly save your work, but other than the frustrating 3D max glitching problem 3D max has been a good experience.
Lately in game design we have been working with 3D modeling; 3D modeling is a technique used to create a 3D representation of an objects on a surface. Working with 3D modeling has not been that much of a challenge for me which should not have come as much of a surprise but since I have worked within the 3d modeling before it had very little challenges to offer me mainly the hardest part with working with 3d modeling was remembering all the shortcuts to use to make working with it much easier. My favorite part with working with 3d modeling is using 3d max because even though it is a new system we are using it is fairly straightforward and simple and there is no frustrating expect that have encountered, I also find that I like it because of its 3d expect meaning I like it because it supplies use with the objects to shape and create what we need instead of other software programs we have used such as photoshop and premiere that require you to use the line tool or something else to create 2d drawings, another aspect of 3d modeling is how little time restraints there are with 2d work everything to you at least 3 days to complete depending on the assignment while with 3d modeling an assignment can be complete within a day so getting a head is very easy to do. The work we have done so far makes me excited for next year because due to the lesser time restraint the class will feel much easier since I will most likely be able to get work in ahead of time.
