What is the difference between Photoshop and Illustrator? The Difference between Photoshop and Illustrator is that Photoshop supports raster files where illustrator supports vector files, Photoshop is mainly used for digital painting, photo retouching, matt painting, comic art, poster arts, while Illustrator can be used for creating
designs, shapes, illustrations, branding, packaging, patterns and many more. Primarily there are very few differences in the jobs they are used for, though there are differences in their tools such as their selection tools, and fill bucket tool, but even though there similarities in their jobs their differences are based on the programs them selves.

Recently in-game design we have started working with Adobe Illustrator, adobe illustartor is a software program used for drawing, illustrations, and artwork using a Windows or MacOS computer. Adobe Illustrator is generally used for creating digital piecies of artwork such as cartoons and logs, but it can also be used for charts, diagrams, graphs, and illustrations. Adobe is used by many different digital artists including graphic designers, web designers, visual artists, and professional illustrators.
Within bitmap there is an assortment of tools such as the lasso tool, the fill bucket tool, and many more; but my favorite out of all these tools is the quick select tool. Quick select is a tool that allows you to select any area within the boundaries of your image. Quick select is generally used for painting a large region's within an image, this allows for you to colorize an image faster, than you would, by using the paint tool. These characteristics of the quick are the main reason I favor it more than the other tools, though there are some frustrating things you will encounter when using this tool such as how when selecting a piece of your image it on some occasions select's a larger portion of your image, that you don't want to be selected, or in other cases it doesn't select enough your image; but even though it may be frustrating at times, but without it projects would take a lot more time and effort that in many cases, I don't have enough to spare. *Quick select and its uses *What quick select is used for *Why I use quick select Citations: “Make Quick Selections in Photoshop.” Conceptos De Modos De Color En Photoshop, helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/making-quick-selections.html. |
